Our Story
Who We Are?
CARE (Chinese-American Reproductive Ethics Alliance) is a non-profit alliance of reproductive law and fertility professionals. We were founded to ensure that ethics in surrogacy and assisted reproduction are guided by fairness, science, and respect.

Diversity & Inclusion
Ethics Without Borders
Our founders recognized a gap in representation for Chinese-American and international fertility professionals. CARE was created to ensure their voices are heard — not as outsiders, but as equal contributors to the ethical evolution of the industry.
Our Philosophy
Guided by Science, Grounded in Law
CARE’s ethical principles are built upon:
-
ASRM recommendations for surrogacy and gamete donation
-
FDA regulations for reproductive health and embryo handling
-
U.S. federal and state laws governing assisted reproduction
We seek collaboration, not confrontation. We offer a balanced and inclusive perspective that complements other industry organizations such as SEEDS.
“ Our community includes surrogacy agencies, attorneys, doctors, and consultants who believe ethical standards must protect everyone — professionals, surrogates, donors, and intended parents alike."
